A Business Case Presentation by Jordan Banks,

We will start the new year by bringing back by popular demand our Business Case Study. On Thursday, January 25, 2007, Jordan Banks, Managing Director of eBay Canada, the number one online shopping destination in Canada, will lead the Case Study on "The eBay Story -
An Inside Look at its Evolution and Opportunity". Hired in 2000, Jordan helped launch eBay Canada that same year, and became the second employee of the Canadian office of eBay Inc. eBay Inc., founded in 1995, is The World's Online MarketplaceTM with a gross merchandise volume (the value of goods sold) of over $44 billion (US) in 2005.

In his role of Managing Director at eBay Canada, Jordan has overall responsibility for the ongoing development of eBay Canada including operations, strategy, and marketing, as well as building the eBay brand and eBay's community of users in Canada. eBay Canada has more than five million registered Canadian users, whom collectively bought over $1 billion (US) dollars worth of goods on eBay this past year.

Join Jordan as he describes the path that eBay has taken to its position of
e-commerce leader in Canada, and how buyers and sellers alike are creating
and building businesses through the eBay platform. The event is interactive
with participation and questions from the audience most welcome. Jordan
will also touch on the experience of introducing eBay to our unique market,
as witnessed by the recent launch of eBay Canada¹s French-language site;
future trends in the modern dot com era; technology and convergence; and how
eBay is adopting to rapid technological changes through the recent
acquisitions and creation of technically innovative properties such as
PayPal, Kijiji and Skype.

The Toronto Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum is one of 24 worldwide. We

Throughout his tenure at eBay, Jordan has managed each of eBay Canada¹s key
business units and has been involved in hiring every employee in the office.
Most recently, Jordan was the head of business and strategic development for
eBay¹s Canadian operations and was responsible for all of eBay Canada¹s key
strategic business relationships and seller development initiatives.

Prior to joining eBay Canada, Jordan managed the Licensing and International
Business group at the National Hockey League Players¹ Association. In this
role, he was responsible for supervising and managing global retail product
licensees, negotiating license and international event agreements, and
identifying and pursuing new areas of business for the organization. A
lawyer by profession, Jordan also practiced corporate finance law at
Goodmans in Toronto.

Jordan is the founder and chairman of Sportsfest, a non-profit organization
focused on raising funds for Alzheimer's research and care which, to date,
has raised over $650,000. Jordan is also a member of the Board of Directors
of the Ontario Science Centre, the Baycrest Centre, the Baycrest Foundation,
the Moses and Temara Tobe Foundation and the Information Technology
Association of Canada (ITAC). He also serves on several committees with the
Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO), Havergal College, and Leave Out
Violence.

Jordan is a member of the Young President¹s Organization (YPO) and, in May
2006, Jordan was named one of Canada's ³Top 40 Under 40² honourees ­ a
national program that celebrates the leaders of today and tomorrow for their
achievements in leadership, vision, innovation, community involvement and
contribution. In 2006, Jordan was also named one of the four inaugural
winners of the Hugo Boss ³Leave a Mark Award² celebrating ³men of
excellence² in Canada.
